FAQ

What is an Escape Room?

An escape game is a real-life experience where participants are locked in a room and must use their wits and observation to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape or complete other objectives within a set amount of time.
No, all of our doors are equipped with emergency exit buttons so you can leave the game at any time. The only thing keeping you in the room is your desire to beat it!
All our games except for Forest of Echoes last for 75 minutes. Forest of Echoes lasts 90 minutes. You’ll want to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your booking time for admin such as waiver forms and a briefing, and after your game there will be a short debrief.

We suggest putting aside 1.5 hours for the full experience
Our rooms are suitable for the disabled, pregnant and elderly, with no jump scares or inappropriate content for children. Our Ex Libris rooms and The Game are fully accessible for wheelchairs. Our Artefact room has a grate on the floor of the first room, and The Show Must Go On has a single step. One caveat, however: the rooms are designed to be engaging and challenging for adults (although if you’re convinced that your munchkin can handle it, it’s up to you!), and junior room escapers (under 16 years) MUST be supervised by an adult OVER 18 YEARS OLD.
Absolutely not. Once you book a session, it’s all yours. We will not add anyone else to your booking.
Leave behind that graphics calculator and cryptology textbook – you’re not going to need them. Nor will you need any writing tools, paper, skeleton keys, hacksaws, Prison Escape 101 books, DVDs of Lost, or anything of the sort – all you need is right there in the room with you.

In short, you don’t need to bring anything, just your curiosity and excitement!
Of course you can, we’d love to host them too! Just keep in mind that the limit for Ex Libris is 12 players per game (total of 24 players across both games), the limit for Artefact is 8 players per game, the limit for The Game is 14 players per game, the limit for The Forest of Echoes is 8 players per game, the limit for The Show Must Go On is 5 players per game, and the limit for End of the Road is 7 players per game.

Just bring them along, and we’ll settle the difference on the day.
If you inform us more than 24 hours before your game, we will provide you with a full refund for the missing players. After that, we will provide a 50% refund for players who don’t attend.
If you don't turn up to your booking, you won't be refunded. Any requests for rescheduling bookings are subject to Next Level Escape's discretion. Any cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours before the booking or you will not be refunded.

If your group is more than 10 minutes late, we may reduce the length of your game to fit the allocated timeslot.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any players who are intoxicated (and let's be honest, where's the fun in doing mental gymnastics when you're drunk?). Those players will NOT be issued any refund.
Yes, we do! Click here and select “Gift Vouchers”, and you can choose from either a pre-set amount, or an entire experience for a set number of people. You will be sent a printable PDF, and the voucher is valid for 3 years from purchase. We also sell physical vouchers on site (no additional cost) if you purchase one when you come!
